I’ve decided that I am going to just start. I can add in more random ideas on the go and there is no time like the present to start my Drawing A Day exercise. I randomly rolled a hidden cave shrine on a large horizontal map. The size is 52×24 for the purposes of Roll20 users.
It took a lot longer than I wanted my 10 min cap to be. After an hour of sketching here is what I came up with. I decided to create an area that has a normal shrine where a typical viewer might lay down something of importance to pay respects to the deity. I darkened the cave to create the importance of light shining on the shrine. However, behind the front is a secret area with arcane writings on stones. Steep cliffs sink down into deep pits on either side. An odd arcane presence can be felt from either pit. Do you dare to read the inscriptions?
Let me know what you think!
